Dolphin Coast Outreach (DCO) provides a Hot Meal for KwaDukuza Residents in Need

This past Thursday the charitable division of DOCRRA, Dolphin Coast Outreach (DCO), redirected some of their donations to assist those in need in the KwaDukuza community.

“The municipal procurement processes are complex and take long. In the interim those left destitute after the floods have not had a hot meal in days”, says DOCRRA chairman and DCO convener, Deon Viljoen.

The support from DCO provided a hot home-cooked soup meal for 500 residents on Thursday and on Good Friday. DCO managed to do this without interrupting our regular supply chain.  A further extraordinary collection has been arranged for Easter Saturday.

DOCRRA and DCO wish to thank all our regular and new contributors of the frozen soup meals. A special thanks also goes to Ward 22 Councillor, Privi Makhan, and KDM Relief Organiser, Bongi Xulu, for making the distribution arrangements.

For more information or to assist, please contact us at admin@docrra.co.za or WhatsApp Deon on 082 558 8788.
